I recently had the chance to read a very valuable and empowering book. It was Leigh Fortson’s Embrace, Release, Heal: An Empowering Guide to Talking about, Thinking about, and Treating Cancer.
You can read the review here.
This book is very timely for our times for two main reasons. The first is that a lot of people in our world today are dealing with cancer. Whether it is directly themselves, or indirectly through a family member or friend, and this book offers lots of inspiration, support and empowerment.
The second reason is that we have come to a point in our human evolution where we are stepping up to the plate of personal responsibility and taking back our power. This means we are no longer going blindly with what the medical system tells us to do. We are questioning and we are researching things for ourselves. With this in mind, this book gives us lots of different options for approaching cancer healing from an alternative angle.
Having enjoyed the book so much and seeing the great value that it holds, I was delighted to have the opportunity to talk to the author, Leigh Fortson further about her journey and alternative cancer healing options.
In the interview Leigh shares the impact that having cancer 3 times had on her life, what she discovered, what it taught her, and where she is on her journey now. Leigh also touches on the politics of the cancer industry, shares some valuable resources that helped change her life and offers some well-rounded advice for anyone who is diagnosed with cancer, or knows someone who is.
